The tarragon rice is made of sticky rice, tarragon and preserved ham. In the west of Hunan
province, we can find this food. People usually have it in spring – the time tarragon growth.
It’s a delicious food. This food relate to the local tradition, may be it is a sacrifice, but I
don’t know the details.

PS: I don’t know how to translate ‘蒿菜饭’ into English accurately. It’s very kind of
you to help me.

My dictionary says 蒿菜饭 is chrysanthemum rice. Tarragon is given as 龙篙. I think I'd
rather have tarragon than chrysanthemum in my rice, though.

Sounds like a zongzi without a wrapper!

Hmm... If you're trying to post pictures, amanda530513, then I'm not seeing them. I assume I'm not
meant to be seeing a big red '56.com' with 'http://photo.56.com' below it for both your pictures,
yeah?
